Flying Pig Marathon Fluid Station Volunteers Wanted
The Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati will have a fluid station at mile 22 for the 16th Annual Flying Pig Marathon. Mile 22 is where the marathon really begins for the runners and your support and encouragement means plenty to them. If you are running the marathon, please encourage your friends and family to help out. If you're not running, join us for a little fun and help us help the runners at mile 22. To volunteer at our waterstop:
  1. Go to the Flying Pig Volunteer Registration Page.
  2. Click the Sign-up with registered group.
  3. Find and select Runners' Club of Cincinnati from the group list.
  4. Complete volunteer information.
  5. Use Runnerclub as the group password when asked near the end of the form.

Volunteers Wanted
  1. Valentine Day Race Committee - Have you ever wondered what it takes to put together a race? Get in on the action! The club is forming a Race Committee for the club's Valentine Day Race  to be held in February 2014 at Northern Kentucky University. We need assistance with prerace organization, promotion, sponsorship, and volunteer coordination. The first meeting is scheduled for October. If you can help,  please email us at
  2. Ongoing Openings - Currently we have a few openings for keeping the club running on an ongoing basis:  Social Chair, Membership Chair, Program Chair, Newsletter Editor and Database Manager. Most positions take 1-2 hours a week of your time. If you can or would like to fulfill one of these positions, please send an email to or attend the next board meeting.

At the Annual Meeting on April 8, the membership of the Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati in attendance approved the following members to serve on the club’s board for 2013:

Important Changes to the 2013 RCGC Membership Fees Effective February 1, 2013
New 2013 Membership Fees for renewals and New Applicants:
• Individual Membership: $25.00 /one year or $45.00 / two years
• Family Membership: $40.00 / one year or 75.00 / two years

Current Members may still get the 2012 rates if membership is renewed by February 1, 2013. After this date, new rates go into effect.
