RCGC Member dues are due March 1, 2015. Register online or use the mail in form before you miss out on these great benefits. If you are unsure on whether you are paid for 2015, you can check your status online
The Winter Wonderland Run that was cancelled March 1 is rescheduled for Sunday, March 29 at 1:00 PM at Lower Millcrest Park. Online registration has been reopened and is available until Wednesday March 25. Race Day Registration opens at Noon and race is at 1:00 PM. If you have any questions or want more information, contact us at email@example.com. Hope to see many of you there.

RCGC Split The Pot Prediction Run
DATE: Sunday, March 22, 2015 - Open to All.
TIME: 11:00 AM.
PLACE: Fernbank Park, Cincinnati O
PREREGISTRATION: ends Wednesday March 18, 2015 or until all slots are filled.
Cost: $30 - General Public
RCGC Members get a 20% discount.
COURSE: 3.7 mile all terrain course starts by the Riverview Shelter in Fernbank Park. Course goes on the trails and paths of Fernbank Park.

Heart Mini Team
The Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati has a team participating at the 38th Annual Heart Mini-Marathon. For joining the team, you get access to the club’s Heart Mini Suite where you can put your stuff and no need to share bathrooms with 15,000 participants. You can sign up to be part of the team at this year’s (March 14th – March 15th) run/walk events by identifying yourself as part of Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati while registering. You can also join from our team page. If filling out a paper form indicate Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati as your team. Cost of the HeartMini Marathon is $45 and $60 for the Heart Half Marathon through March 2. The 15k and Half Marathon begin at 7:30 AM this year and the 5k begins at 10:30 AM.
The Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati has long sleeve technical shirts to help you keep you warm during the winter runs They are white with the club logo on the front and a Gotham Style design on the back . We have Women’s Small, Women’s Medium, Women’s Large, and Men’s Small, Men’s Medium, and Men’s Large. If you would like a shirt, you can get them over at the Runner's Club Store for $18.00. They will be available for purchase through March. Order soon before March ends or we run out of the size that you want.
I found out yesterday that one of our former club Presidents - Ed Spiller passed away last Friday December 26. Ed was President of the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati in the early to mid 80's when it was known as the Clifton Track Club. He will be missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to WNKU Public Radio or the Heart of Texas Historical Museum in Brady, TX. You can see funeral arrangements and read about his life at legacy.com.
2015 Membership Changes
Starting January 1, 2015, the Runners' Club of Greater Cincinnati will be eliminating the due date for annual dues of March 1 and go to a 1 year membership expiration from the month of application for new members. If you join the club as a new member in January 2015, your membership will expire in January 2016.
If you join the club as a New Member in December 2014, your membership will expire on March 1, 2016
All Current members' due date is currently March 1 and should feel little impact from the change if they renew on a timely basis.

I found out recently at our board meeting that one of our former club Presidents - Nick Greco passed away last Friday September 19. Nick was President of the Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati in the early to mid 90’s. He will be missed. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to the Countryside YMCA and Hospice of Cincinnati. To leave a condolence, please visit tuftsschildmeyer.com.

Finish Line Crew - The Runners’ Club of Greater Cincinnati has quite a few races coming up where volunteers are needed to work the finish line. The jobs are easy and you get to the learn how to use the club’s new chip timing system. If interested send us an email at email@example.com.
Ongoing Openings - Currently we have few openings for keeping the club running on an ongoing basis: Social Chair, Program Chair, and Newsletter Editor. Most positions take 2-3 hours a month of your time. If you can or would like to fulfill one of these positions, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or attend the next board meeting on July 17.
